Van Metre Iowa Realty and Auction Company was established in 1977 in State Center, Iowa.
In 1978 Fred Van Metre moved to Marshalltown and opened an office to expand into a larger market. The Company has grown over the past 20 years into a Multi-million Dollar Real Estate Service and a Nationwide, Full-Service Auction Company!
The Auction division conducts about 75 auctions per year. We specialize in Antiques, Tool & Business Auctions. We also hold local Estate & Household Auctions featuring coins & stamps, toys, pottery, glass, autos, trucks, specialty vehicles, farm equipment & Real Estate Auctions.
